How do I become a member of the Association?
The Northwest Wireless Association is not a membership or dues based organization, so everyone who has an interest in wireless communications services is welcome to actively participate in the Association.
How can I become involved with the Association?
There are several opportunities to help the Association:
Board of Directors: We would like to add several more industry veterans to our Board of Directors. The Board will meet periodically by phone or in person to identify opportunities for the Association to serve the wireless industry, and to set the strategic directives for the Association.
Committees: You may serve on one of the Association's 3 committes:
Regulatory: Assist with state and local regulatory, land use and code matters.
Membership: Plan and conduct events that are of interest to the Association, including educational seminars and charitable events.
Public Relations: Communicate with national and local media, industry participants and other state associations to promote the Association's events.
Educational Programs: The Association will sponsor educational programs to discuss recent developments that affect the local wireless communications industry.
Fundraisers: The Association will host fundraising events, and the proceeds will be used to support our local charities.
Web Site Design: If you are a skilled web site designer, the Association and our web site could benefit from your help.
If you would like to serve on the Board of Directors or on any of the Committees, or if you would like to help with our events or web site, please contact any of our Officers or Board Members.
