Blue Bell, PA – HMI Technical Solutions, LLC, (HMITS) announces the addition of Michael C. (Mike) Flynn as Director of Communications Engineering. Mr. Flynn has responsibility, authority, and accountability for defining and implementing methodology and best practices for the planning and execution of the organization’s communications engineering operational platforms and programs.
Over the course of his 27-year telecommunications career, Mr. Flynn has held leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Frontier Communications, from Vice President of Operations for the Great Lakes region to National Vice President. In addition, he served as Director of FiOS Operations, Sales and Marketing in the Midwest region for Verizon.
Mr. Flynn served in active duty as an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1980 to 1989 and in the Naval Reserves until 1998, reaching the rank of Lieutenant Commander. His service included missions in the Persian Gulf and 13 countries. Mr. Flynn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science and Engineering from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He is a Leadership Florida Executive graduate, a member of the Tampa General Hospital Foundation, and a former Director for The Order of St. Francis – OSF Hospital in Bloomington, IL.
