26 States Enact Small Cell Legislation
In the past month, Maine has successfully enacted legislation to modernize and streamline state rules for small cell deployment. Bills in Connecticut and Wisconsin have passed both chambers. To date, 26 states have put legislation in place to expedite the deployment of small cells in the public right-of-way in a responsible and sustainable manner. These carefully crafted and balanced laws reflect the innovative changes in technology for the deployment of 5G.
