27 States Enact Small Cell Legislation
In the past month, Maine and Connecticut have successfully enacted laws to
modernize and streamline state rules regarding small cell deployment with
Wisconsin expected to be signed into legislation later today. These carefully
crafted and balanced laws reflect the innovative changes in technology for the
deployment of 5G. To date, 27 states have put legislation in place to expedite
the deployment of small cells in the public right-of-way in a responsible and
sustainable manner.
